Tristan is a manticore, Isolde is a sphynx. They wuv each other VEWY MUCH. Just kidding. Isolde's got the hots for Tristan and he likes her back but he's all BAWW IM UGLYand she has to smack a ho. Yes.

Anyway. Modifying the traditional manticore bit, Tristan's still got the lion body, humanoid face, stinger tail, and 3 rows of teeth. The additions: long, long neck _{(length of his body minus tail!)}, a super long snakey tongue _{(which, coupled with those gnarly teeth, means the poor boy isn't doing much talking. He can make noise, oh yeah, but you won't hear words.)}, awesome curve-back horns, eyebrow whiskers to put an asian lung to shame, and wispy billygoat beard! <3 I figure he always has this confused look on his face, not like "Whoa, dude, where am I?" but more "Who are you get out of mai faec >:C". Yes.

Isolde has the lion's (winged) body and woman's face of a sphynx, but after that I just went halfway crazy. She's got a long neck like Tristan, but her mane is braided with many PURTY BEADS and stuff. No, I didn't draw the beads, are you crazy? Lol... From the elbow and knee down she has awesome bird legs/feet (yur so jelus of mai skillz, i kno), and a weird bird tail that semi-hides a long snake tail. Phew. Oh, and cute wispy cheek fur and bushy eyebrows. And boobs. LOLWHAT? <3

I WUV THEM!

I just had to make a manticore, and his "girlfriend" just naturally followed. xD

Whoa...these are interesting just to look at. I've never seen a manticore drawn like that...but I'm now convinced that's how they -should- be drawn <3

Hell, make one anyway! Just put your own personal spin on it, like I did! Hell, you could make one like these guys if you/I ever feel like working that into an art trade, maybe.
